Wincent Wolf controls in plain words
The bet ladder, the payout rule, the autoplay panel and the purchase cart.
Wincent Wolf looks like a lounge and plays like a classic. If you have spun a five-reel line game before, most of it will already be familiar; what is new lives in the purchase cart and the Wheel of Fortune. This page covers all of it, and the demo below lets you rehearse while you read.
Setting your bet: the eighteen-step ladder#
The stake selector has eighteen stops: 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80, 1.00, 1.20, 1.60, 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00, 6.00, 8.00, 10.00, 12.00, 15.00, 20.00 and 25.00. It opens on 2.00.
Whatever you pick is divided across the twenty lines, and that per-line figure drives every payout on the screen. At 2.00 each line carries 0.10. At the 0.20 bottom step each line carries 0.01, and at the 25.00 top step each carries 1.25.
| Your setting | Each line carries | Five wolves on a line | Three Scatters pay | Wolf’s Luck costs | A 10,000x round |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.20 | 0.01 | 7.50 | 1.00 | 12.00 | 2,000 |
| 1.00 | 0.05 | 37.50 | 5.00 | 60.00 | 10,000 |
| 2.00 | 0.10 | 75.00 | 10.00 | 120.00 | 20,000 |
| 5.00 | 0.25 | 187.50 | 25.00 | 300.00 | 50,000 |
| 10.00 | 0.50 | 375.00 | 50.00 | 600.00 | 100,000 |
| 25.00 | 1.25 | 937.50 | 125.00 | 1,500.00 | 250,000 |
Two of those columns behave differently from the rest, and it is worth knowing which. The Scatter column and the ceiling column are multiples of the total bet; everything a symbol combination pays is a multiple of the bet per line, which is the second column. That is the only piece of arithmetic this game asks you to hold, and the Payments panel does it for you as soon as you change the stake.
Read the table left to right once and the ladder stops being abstract. The bottom step stretches an evening and makes a bonus purchase a small decision. The default keeps the line values easy to read. The top step is where the 250,000 headline actually lives, and it is a short, deliberate session rather than a long one.

How a win is paid#
The payout rule is short, and learning it exactly saves a lot of squinting.
- Symbols pay left to right, starting from reel one and continuing on consecutive reels of an active payline.
- Each line pays its highest combination only, so a three-symbol win sitting inside a four-symbol win pays once, at the four-symbol value.
- Line wins are multiplied by the bet per line, which is your total stake divided across the twenty.
- Scatters are the exception: three of them pay 5x the total bet wherever they land on reels one, three and five.
Put the paytable behind those rules and the game becomes readable. Line values, as the Payments panel prints them at a 2.00 total bet:
| Symbol | Five on a line | Four | Three |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wincent Wolf | 750 | 150 | 50 |
| Scarlett Fox | 500 | 100 | 35 |
| The car | 300 | 60 | 25 |
| Rubies | 200 | 40 | 20 |
| Cash bundle | 150 | 25 | 12 |
| Four aces | 100 | 20 | 8 |
| Martini and A | 50 | 10 | 5 |
| K, Q and J | 25 | 5 | 2 |
Notice the jump in the last reel. Four wolves pay 150 and five pay 750, so the fifth symbol multiplies that line by five. It also explains where a Wild does its work: Wilds land on reels two, three and four only, so the first and last symbol of a five-of-a-kind is always the real thing and the Wild fills the middle.
The bottom two rows of the table deserve as much attention as the top one. Three royals on a line pay 2x the bet per line and four pay 5x, which at the 2.00 default is 0.20 and 0.50; three of the cash bundle pay 1.20 and four pay 2.50. Those are the sizes a 1 in 2.99 hit rate deals in most of the time you are not in a bonus, and they are what a low stake stretches. Scale all of it with your own stake and the whole table moves with you. The features page has the complete set with the Wilds worked in.

The controls: autoplay, quick spin and the buy cart#
The control row is short enough to learn in one pass.
- The stake selector. Eighteen steps, described above. It is the single most consequential button on the screen, because it prices the lines and both purchases at once.
- Spin. The one you press most.
- Autospins. Set a spin count and let it run. The panel also carries stop conditions: on any win, on a bonus, on a single win above a value you choose, and on a balance increase or decrease you set. A stop on the bonus is the one worth switching on by default: it puts you back in the chair for the Wheel of Fortune, which is the part of the game you actually came for.
- Quick spin. Available in the Autospins settings and in the settings panel, for players who prefer the reels to land faster.
- The Buy Bonus cart. A button of its own, beside the reels on the left rather than in the control row. It holds two options. Wolf’s Luck opens the Free Spins immediately for 60x the total bet: 12.00 at the bottom step, 120.00 at the default, 1,500.00 at the top. Chance x2 raises your chance of reaching them for 1.5x, a half-bet surcharge on the spin you were making anyway: 0.10 extra at 0.20, 1.00 extra at 2.00. One purchase runs at a time, so the two are alternatives rather than a stack.
- The info and settings buttons. They sit at the other end of the row, below the left edge of the grid, and they are where the Payments panel and the rest of the game’s own reference live. Open the panel once at the stake you intend to play: every figure in it is quoted for that bet.
Where an operator’s licence asks for it, the purchases, the auto mode and quick spin follow that setting, and the twenty-line base game plays the same either way.
Two rules govern the bonus itself, and both are worth knowing before you open the cart. Three Scatters on reels one, three and five pay 5x the total bet and send you to the Wheel of Fortune, which stops on a number before a single free reel turns; stops seen in play are 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 19. Inside the round every Wild that lands stays where it lands, holding its x2 or x3 until the bonus ends, and every third Wild collected adds 3 Free Spins and doubles every Wild multiplier already on the grid, up to three retriggers. Nothing in the control row changes any of that: which is the point of learning the row first and then letting the round happen.

Your first ten minutes, minute by minute#
A plan beats wandering. This one walks the control row rather than the feature list, so by the end you have touched every button once.
- Minutes 1-3: spin at 2.00 with the panel open. Keep the Payments panel up beside the reels and match what pays to what it says. With a win landing 1 in 2.99 spins you will have four or five to check almost immediately.
- Minutes 3-5: change the stake twice. Drop to 0.20, spin, then jump to 5.00 and spin again. A three-royal line pays 2x the bet per line, so the same win is 0.02 at the bottom step and 0.50 at 5.00: the fastest way there is to understand bet-per-line.
- Minutes 5-7: set up Autospins properly. Twenty spins, a stop on the bonus, and a stop on a balance decrease you would actually mind. Let it run and notice that the panel, not you, is now holding the limit.
- Minutes 7-9: buy once from the cart. Chance x2 at 1.5x first, for a handful of spins, then Wolf’s Luck at 60x to see the Wheel of Fortune stop on a number. It reaches 19, and the stops seen in play include 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 18 along the way.
- Minute 10: watch the counter. Inside the bonus every Wild sticks, and every third one collected adds 3 spins while doubling every Wild multiplier on the grid. Three retriggers are available, so a line carrying an x2 and an x3 pays at x5, then x10, then x20, then x40.
Ten minutes, and every control on the screen has been used once.
Good habits before you press spin#
Every result comes from a certified random number generator, which means each spin stands entirely on its own. The reels carry the outcome; your job is the stake and the stopping point, and those two choices are genuinely yours.
The rules carry their own housekeeping: an unfinished round is closed out within 24 hours, so nothing is left open behind you. The game is published for smartphone, tablet and desktop, so the same twenty lines, the same Wheel and the same eighteen-step ladder are waiting whichever screen you open; the app page covers the casino app for Android and iOS, and the lobby lists the game under its own id, WincentWolf.
One last habit, and it is the cheapest one: decide your stake before you open the cart, not after. A 60x purchase feels very different at 0.20 than at 2.00, and the ladder is there precisely so that the decision is yours to size.
18+. Wincent Wolf is a game of chance. Decide your budget and your session length before the first spin: the responsible gambling page has the tools, the RTP page has the numbers, and the Wincent Wolf hub has everything else. Then set your stake and let the wolf open the door.
